Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all services provided by The Digital Journey.
Services
The Digital Journey provides digital guidance, training, consultancy, technology support, AI guidance and related services.
All advice and recommendations are provided in good faith and based on information available at the time.
Booking and Payment
Payment is required when a booking is made. Appointments are considered provisional until confirmed.
If confirmation is not received within 24 hours of booking, The Digital Journey reserves the right to cancel the appointment and release the booking slot.
Cancellations and Refunds
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move a booking — I'll refund or reschedule with no charge. With less than 48 hours' notice, I'm not able to refund, as your time was reserved especially for you. I may also need to reschedule in exceptional circumstances, and will always give you as much notice as possible.
If you're booking as a private individual (not for a business, trade or organisation), you also have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel for a refund within 14 days — up until your session takes place. Once your session has been delivered, that no longer applies.
To cancel, simply email collette@thedigitaljourney.online.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Digital Journey shall not be liable for:
- Business losses
- Loss of profits

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Where they are not, you may be entitled to a repeat performance or a price reduction.
AI Services
Where AI-related guidance is provided, clients acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and should always be reviewed before use. The client remains responsible for verifying all outputs and decisions.

Information shared during consultations will be treated as confidential unless:
- Disclosure is required by law
- The client has provided consent
